TMZ on TV broke all the rules of entertainment television; the format and production was unheard of. The show is written, shot, animated, and edited daily in six hours. From its inception, the producers wanted to make it clear that the show was going to be different from what viewers have seen on television. I designed the logo and show open with a raw and energetic feel that separated itself from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. An immense graphics package was also designed in order to hit such a strict production schedule. TMZ became the #1 magazine show for adults ages 18 to 34.
